Pediatric Therapy: ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, & Occupational Therapy for Central Texas

We provide ABA Therapy services

Applied Behavior Analysis therapy, or ABA therapy, is the application of behavioral principles to teach new behaviors and to modify existing behaviors. By identifying events that occur before and after a behavior, we can systematically determine the reason for a behavior.

What does ABA look like?

An ABA therapy session can take different shapes and forms and be held in various places. However, The sessions are typically held at your home or at the pediatric therapy center. Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), also known as ABA therapists, will use various places and materials in your child’s natural environment to promote their skill acquisition. During a small portion of the in-home ABA therapy sessions, the parents, RBTs, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) will typically work together to ensure an accurate and consistent transition of skills across multiple people and environments. During an aba therapy session at the clinic, the ABA therapist and your child may have opportunities to develop social skills with similar peers, if developmentally appropriate. We also offer social skills programs on Saturdays!

Our goal during the ABA therapy session is to provide your child with a challenging, interactive, and fun learning experience across all their environments. The length of time and the number of times your child will have ABA therapy sessions are established during the evaluation process, as suggested by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). These suggestions are based on the level of your child’s development.

What does my child learn during therapy?

Your child’s Applied Behavior Analysis therapy session will be tailored to his or her needs. After a full evaluation is conducted, the BCBA will propose goals based on the behaviors observed during those first evaluations. Some of the skills we strive to improve our communication skills, language skills, socially significant skills, play skills, and functional life skills.

What are our staff's qualifications?

Our staff consists of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), & Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) which are recognized by the Board Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
